Publish to yoursite.framer.website, to Staging, or to your custom domain, and paste the URL into BugSmash.
Paste the URL, send one link. Your client comments on the published site as it actually runs, at any breakpoint, and every comment arrives with the element, the browser and the device it came from.

Framer has comments on the canvas and they work well for the team inside the project. They are a build tool, and they stop at the edge of the project.
To comment on the canvas they need access to the project, which means onboarding a non-designer into a design tool to say "the headline is too long".
Framer builds are motion-heavy by nature, and the thing worth reacting to is the published page with the scroll effects running, not a static frame.
Hand the project over, duplicate it, or archive it, and the review history goes with it.
The deck, the PDF, the launch video and the ad set are the rest of the delivery and none of them are in Framer.
How it works
Publish to yoursite.framer.website, to Staging, or to your custom domain, and paste the URL into BugSmash.
Your client opens it in their own browser. No Framer seat, no project access, no BugSmash account.
Every comment carries the page, the element, the breakpoint, the browser and a screenshot.
Comments attach to the thing on the page, so "this heading" is unambiguous without a marked-up JPEG in an email.
Desktop, tablet and mobile in the same link. Responsive is most of the job on a Webflow build, so a desktop-only review is half a review.
Blog posts, case studies, product templates. Each published Collection page is a URL, so each one is reviewable.
Every comment records what the reviewer was on. No follow-up thread to work out why you cannot reproduce it.
Republish, add a new version, and compare against what the client signed off on last round.
Who approved, on which version, on what date. That record stays with you, not with the Webflow site.
The review window loads the page in a real browser session, so anything you can sign in to yourself, you can sign in to here. Nothing is handed over to BugSmash and no credentials are stored.
| Your URL | Review by URL | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| yoursite.framer.website | Works | Paste and go. |
| Staging or a published custom domain | Works | Paste and go. |
| Framer password protection | Works | It is a password form, so you complete it inside the review window. |
| A marketplace password-gate component | Works | Also a form, so the same applies. |
| A login screen using Google or another social provider | Not supported | Install the Feedback Widget. |
| Scroll-linked animation, Framer Motion effects, 3D | Renders, fidelity varies | Framer is the platform where this matters most. For a heavily animated site, install the Feedback Widget so reviewers see it exactly as it runs. |
One script in Site settings › Custom Code, which is available on paid plans. Custom code publishes with the site, so remove it before the production publish if you only added it for review.
From fast-moving studio builds to startup launches, collect clear feedback on the published site without adding reviewers to the project.

Client sign-off on the published site, recorded against the version they approved.
See how
Founder, brand and the product lead review the same live page without any of them entering the Framer project.
See how
Review a Framer site you did not build, which is every audit and every pitch for a rebuild.
See howA comment on the hero section becomes a ticket with the URL, the element, the screenshot and the browser already attached.
Context stays attached from comment to completion.
Send to your workflow
The destination changes. The context does not.
A Webflow launch is rarely only a Webflow launch. The same project holds the pitch deck, the brand PDF, the launch video, the ad creative, the email template and the mobile build, each reviewed the same way, each on the same approval record.

No. They open a review link in their own browser and comment on the published page. They never enter the Framer project.
Paste your Framer URL and send the first review link in under a minute.
