BugSmash reviews a URL that is reachable in the browser. Deploy the storefront or expose a Stencil CLI preview through the HTTPS tunnel documented by BigCommerce; localhost and private-network URLs alone are not externally reachable.

This year marked our strongest period of growth to date. Revenue climbed 42% year over year while our customer base expanded across eleven new markets, driven by continued investment in product.

Can I share a Page Builder preview as the client review link?
Page Builder is designed for visual editing and preview inside the BigCommerce control panel. For an external, persistent review, use a storefront deployment the client can open in the browser.
Can BugSmash review my local Stencil CLI site?
A localhost or private-network URL is not reachable by external reviewers. BigCommerce documents exposing the Stencil preview over HTTPS with ngrok; use that temporary public URL, or deploy the theme to a browser-accessible review environment.
Does this work with a headless BigCommerce storefront?
Yes when the custom frontend is deployed to an accessible URL. Review that visitor-facing application rather than the BigCommerce control panel or API.
Do reviewers need BigCommerce control-panel access?
No for a public or otherwise accessible deployed storefront. They review the visitor-facing site, not Page Builder or the control panel.
Can reviewers comment on product, category and cart pages?
Yes. Page Builder supports content across storefront page types, and BugSmash comments attach to the rendered page the reviewer opens.
Can we review customer-account or checkout flows?
Use dedicated test data and credentials in an appropriate environment. If the flow depends on a persistent authenticated session, use the BugSmash Feedback Widget on the storefront.
Can reviewers check responsive layouts?
Yes. Review desktop, tablet and mobile layouts from the same link, with viewport and device context retained.
Where does storefront approval live?
It stays in BugSmash, independent of later Page Builder edits, theme changes or frontend deployments.
