Publish the intended review state
Use Dorik Preview inside the builder to inspect draft changes, then publish the intended state to a Dorik subdomain or custom domain before creating a BugSmash Website review.
Paste the published Dorik subdomain or custom-domain URL, send one review link, and collect contextual comments on the live browser experience.

Dorik supports Static and CMS sites, drafts, published subdomains or custom domains, page passwords and member-gated content. Those controls remain active during review.
Four documented boundaries matter before you share the site:
Dorik says saving preserves work without updating the live website. Publishing is the separate action that makes changes visible to visitors.
Dorik documents Preview as a way to see how the website will look externally before publishing; its documentation does not identify Preview as a shareable review URL.
Both Dorik Classic and Dorik CMS sites can be saved as drafts and published to a subdomain or custom domain; CMS additionally supports keeping an individual page as a draft.
A password-protected page requires its configured password, while gated collection items can be limited to Members Only or Paid Members. A pasted URL does not bypass either rule.
How it works
Use Dorik Preview inside the builder to inspect draft changes, then publish the intended state to a Dorik subdomain or custom domain before creating a BugSmash Website review.
Paste the accessible browser URL into BugSmash and share the generated review link with the client or QA team.
Apply the approved changes, publish them from Dorik, and verify the live page, domain and intended access state.
Attach each note to the rendered page location instead of describing it in a separate message.
Use Dorik Preview as an editor-side pre-publication check; BugSmash URL review begins with the published visitor-facing URL.
Review the browser output for either Dorik site type without turning reviewers into dashboard editors.
Review desktop, tablet and mobile layouts while retaining the viewport with every comment.
Keep the page URL, browser, operating system, viewport and screenshot with each website comment.
Page passwords and membership settings continue to decide which restricted pages or posts a reviewer can open.
Use the published Dorik subdomain or connected custom domain. Preview is an editor-side pre-publication check, and a pasted URL does not bypass Dorik page passwords, membership or draft state.
| Your URL | Review by URL | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Published Dorik subdomain | Works | Paste the visitor-facing published URL and begin review. |
| Published Dorik custom domain | Works when connected | Use the live domain after its DNS records are connected and the site is published. |
| Dorik editor Preview | Pre-publish check only | Use Preview inside Dorik to inspect draft changes, then publish to a subdomain or custom domain for BugSmash URL review. |
| Saved draft or unpublished CMS page | Not on the live URL | Publish the intended page before reviewing the visitor-facing release. |
| Password-protected Dorik page | Password required | Use the Feedback Widget inside the password-authorized page. A Website-project review URL does not remove the password. |
| Members-only or paid-members content | Member access required | Use the Feedback Widget on the page after Dorik authenticates an eligible member. A Website-project review URL does not grant membership. |
Add the BugSmash Feedback Widget when review must remain inside a password-protected, member-authorized or stateful Dorik experience. Dorik remains responsible for access.
From saved drafts and previews to published-site sign-off, keep creators, clients and QA aligned on the same Dorik page state.

Collect contextual review while Dorik editing, domains and publishing stay with the delivery team.

Up to 40% offThis year marked our strongest period of growth to date. Revenue climbed 42% year over year while our customer base expanded across eleven new markets, driven by continued investment in product.

Operational efficiency improved as automated workflows reduced manual review time by nearly a third. Looking ahead, we plan to double down on infrastructure, deepen key partnerships, and ship the roadmap our customers have been asking for.

Use the published Dorik subdomain or connected custom domain. Dorik documents Preview as an editor-side pre-publication check, not as a shareable review URL.
Paste a published Dorik subdomain or custom-domain URL and send a focused review link.
