Get client feedback on your Laravel application

Paste a browser-accessible Laravel deployment, send one review link, and collect comments on the pages and application states your users will actually see. Every note keeps its route, browser, device and screenshot context.

Laravel serves the application. Client review belongs on the deployed interface.

Laravel officially supports server-rendered PHP with Blade, reactive interfaces with Livewire, and React, Svelte, or Vue frontends through Inertia. Its Vite integration separates the local development server from production asset builds.

Those choices affect what reviewers can open and reproduce. Four boundaries matter:

  1. Development assets are not the production release.

Laravel documents npm run dev as the local Vite development server and npm run build as the command that versions and bundles assets for production. Review the deployed production assets.

  2. APP_DEBUG must be false in production.

Laravel warns that enabling APP_DEBUG in production can expose sensitive configuration values. Use a safe staging or production configuration for client review.

  3. Maintenance mode replaces every application route.

While php artisan down is active, Laravel returns a maintenance view with a 503 response for application requests unless the browser receives a valid secret bypass cookie.

  4. The frontend stack changes the states to review.

Blade, Livewire, and Inertia applications can produce different navigation and interaction behavior. Include the real routes, permissions, and test data required for sign-off.

BugSmash adds the review layer around the Laravel deployment:
review the accessible browser interface, keep comments attached to the rendered route and element, and preserve approval outside the framework and hosting environment.

How it works

Three steps to a reviewed Laravel application

1

Deploy the release configuration

Publish the Laravel application with production assets and safe environment settings, then confirm every route included in review is accessible.

2

Send one review link

Paste the deployed URL into BugSmash and share the generated link. Reviewers comment on the rendered application without needing source-code or server access.

3

Resolve feedback with its context

Each item carries the route, selected element, screenshot, browser and device. Assign it, update its status, or send it into the team's delivery tools.

Review the complete Laravel interface your users will open

Comment on rendered routes

Attach feedback to the visible Blade, Livewire, or Inertia interface instead of translating it into a route or component description.

Review responsive layouts

Check desktop, tablet and mobile states from one link and keep the viewport with every comment.

Capture browser context

Browser, device, screenshot and page URL arrive with each report.

Cover interactive application states

Use appropriate test data and permissions so reviewers can reach the forms, dashboards, validation states, and flows that need approval.

Keep deployment sign-off

Preserve the review record independently of later PHP, view, asset, cache, or server changes.

Route fixes to the right owner

Turn visual feedback into work for backend, frontend, design, or platform teams with the original context attached.

Will it work on my Laravel application?

BugSmash reviews a browser-accessible Laravel frontend. The deployment, maintenance state, authentication, and application permissions still determine what the reviewer can open.

Your URLReview by URLWhat to do
Public Laravel production deployment WorksPaste the public URL and start the review.
Accessible Laravel staging environment WorksUse the staging URL after confirming its assets, routes, and test data match the release.
Blade, Livewire, or Inertia frontend WorksReview the deployed browser URL for the interface Laravel renders.
Application in maintenance mode Access-dependentUse Laravel's secret bypass URL to issue the browser cookie, or take the review environment out of maintenance mode.
Local PHP or Vite development server Not directlyDeploy the application or expose the local environment through a secure HTTPS tunnel.
Application behind login or SSO Access-dependentUse a permitted test account for a standard login flow, or install the BugSmash Feedback Widget for stateful or SSO-only sessions.

Using the BugSmash Feedback Widget in a Laravel application

Add the BugSmash script to the browser-facing Laravel interface when reviewers must remain inside authenticated or stateful flows. Install it in the rendered layout used by the pages under review.

Turn Laravel application feedback into work

A comment on the deployed application becomes a task with the route, selected element, screenshot, browser and device context already attached.

Context stays attached from comment to completion.

Send to your workflow

The destination changes. The context does not.
