Deploy a production-style environment
Install production dependencies with composer install --no-dev, configure environment values, run required migrations, and clear the cache with APP_ENV=prod and APP_DEBUG=0.
Paste a browser-accessible Symfony deployment, send one review link, and collect comments on the pages and states users will actually see. Every note keeps its route, browser, device and screenshot context.

Symfony's documented deployment work includes production dependencies, environment variables, migrations and cache clearing. A typical application uses dev, prod and test environments, and the web server uses the public directory as its document root with index.php as the front controller.
Four boundaries keep review safe and representative:
The dev environment exposes detailed debugging tools. Symfony's production environment is optimized differently and shows minimal error pages instead of sensitive exception details.
Symfony lists vendor installation, database migrations, environment configuration, and cache clearing or warmup among common deployment tasks. Review after the release setup is complete.
The public directory contains public assets and the front controller and should be the server document root. Review the URL served by that production-style configuration.
Pasting a URL does not bypass security configuration, application login, or server access. Symfony firewalls and access_control rules can require authentication and roles.
How it works
Install production dependencies with composer install --no-dev, configure environment values, run required migrations, and clear the cache with APP_ENV=prod and APP_DEBUG=0.
Paste the accessible application URL into BugSmash and share the generated link. Reviewers comment on the rendered interface without code or server access.
Each comment keeps the page URL, selected element, screenshot, browser and device so the team can reproduce the state.
Attach feedback to the visible page instead of translating it into controller, Twig or route language.
Check desktop, tablet and mobile views and retain the viewport with every report.
The page URL, browser, device and screenshot arrive with each comment.
Use permitted accounts and test data to reach the forms, dashboards and authorization states that need approval.
Include customized 403, 404 and other error templates without exposing the development exception page.
Preserve decisions independently of later PHP, template, asset, cache or server changes.
BugSmash reviews a browser-accessible Symfony frontend. Environment, web-server and security configuration determine which routes reviewers can open.
| Your URL | Review by URL | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Public Symfony production deployment | Works | Paste the deployed URL and review the browser-visible application. |
| Accessible Symfony staging environment | Works | Use a production-style staging URL after confirming its routes, assets and test data. |
| Twig or other browser-rendered frontend | Works | Review the interface served through the application's browser routes. |
| Preview protected by supported Basic Auth | Works | Provide the permitted Basic Auth credentials through the supported review flow. |
| Symfony local web server | Not directly | Deploy the application or expose the local server through a secure HTTPS tunnel. |
| Routes protected by login, roles or SSO | Use the Widget | Install the Feedback Widget in the application so reviewers can comment while remaining inside the authenticated browser session. |
Add the BugSmash script to the browser-facing Symfony interface when reviewers must remain inside authenticated or stateful flows. Install it in the rendered layout used by the routes under review.
Keep product, design, engineering and QA reviewing the same safely configured deployment.

Review complete routes, responsive layouts and production error pages on a deployment stakeholders can open.

Up to 40% offThis year marked our strongest period of growth to date. Revenue climbed 42% year over year while our customer base expanded across eleven new markets, driven by continued investment in product.

Operational efficiency improved as automated workflows reduced manual review time by nearly a third. Looking ahead, we plan to double down on infrastructure, deepen key partnerships, and ship the roadmap our customers have been asking for.

Use a safely configured staging or production-style deployment. Symfony's typical environments are dev for local development, prod for production servers and test for automated tests.
Paste an accessible Symfony application URL and send the first review link in under a minute.
