Deploy and claim the app URL
Open Share, choose Deploy to Vercel, then claim the URL to your Vercel account when the review needs a permanent address or custom domain.
Paste the accessible deployment URL, send one review link, and collect contextual comments on the React app your users will open.

Tempo builds React apps and documents temporary Canvas previews, team invitations, GitHub-backed projects, Local Mode, and Vercel deployment as distinct workflows.
Four documented boundaries matter before review:
Tempo’s Deploy to Vercel flow creates a unique URL, but its documentation says the provided link is available for 24 hours unless you claim it to your Vercel account.
Storyboard and whole-app preview links work only while the project Canvas is loaded. Tempo says permanent access requires deploying the app.
Tempo invites team members by email from Share so they can collaborate live or asynchronously on the Canvas. That is separate from a public deployment review.
Tempo documents a corresponding Git branch for a new feature canvas and instructs teams to push and merge current work before creating the next feature canvas.
How it works
Open Share, choose Deploy to Vercel, then claim the URL to your Vercel account when the review needs a permanent address or custom domain.
Paste the accessible claimed deployment or custom-domain URL into BugSmash and share the generated review link.
Apply approved changes through Tempo, GitHub, or Local Mode, deploy the intended revision, and verify the browser result.
Attach feedback to the exact page and visible element in the browser app.
Use the claimed deployment when stakeholders need an address that remains available beyond the initial 24-hour link.
Review the custom domain after the claimed project is configured in the connected Vercel account.
Review desktop, tablet, and mobile viewport sizes while preserving the selected viewport with each comment.
Keep the page URL, screenshot, browser, operating system, viewport, and available console details with each report.
When the deployed React frontend permits the BugSmash script, collect feedback inside an authorized signed-in or stateful session.
Choose a durable deployed URL for an ongoing review. Canvas previews are temporary, and Canvas, GitHub, and Local Mode access are development workflows rather than visitor URLs.
| Your URL | Review by URL | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Claimed Tempo Vercel deployment | Works | Paste the visitor-facing URL after claiming it to the Vercel account for permanent access. |
| Custom domain on the claimed Vercel project | Works when connected | Use the live custom domain after Vercel configuration is complete. |
| Unclaimed deployment link | Available for 24 hours | Claim the URL before using it for a review that must remain accessible. |
| Storyboard or whole-app Canvas preview | Temporary preview | Use only for a short review while the Canvas remains loaded; deploy for permanent access. |
| GitHub repository or Local Mode project | Source surface | Run and deploy the React app; repository and IDE synchronization are not visitor-facing URLs. |
| Deployed app behind login | Use the Widget | A pasted URL does not bypass application login or authentication. Use the Feedback Widget inside an authorized session when the script can be installed. |
Where the deployed React frontend permits the BugSmash script, use the widget for an authorized reviewer inside a signed-in, personalized, or stateful flow. The application still controls authentication and data access.
Keep Canvas collaboration, source workflows, deployment, and stakeholder approval distinct while every comment stays attached to the deployed browser page.

Collect contextual feedback on the deployed React app while project editing remains in Tempo.

Operational efficiency improved as automated workflows reduced manual review time by nearly a third. Looking ahead, we plan to double down on infrastructure, deepen key partnerships, and ship the roadmap our customers have been asking for.

Use a claimed Vercel deployment or its connected custom domain for a durable review. An unclaimed deployment link is documented as available for 24 hours.
